The answer to this question is very important for me as I am thinking of buying a 1999 Buick LeSabre. I know a Honda and a Toyota can go upto 250K miles and a Lincoln can go even more, but how much can a Buick LeSabre go upto? What are the common problems found in a Buick LeSabre and is it very expensive to repair those? When should the timing/engine belt of a Buick LeSabre be changed and how often should the oil be changed? Any words of advice will be greatly appreciated.

I recently waxed my car, and a little of the wax dried on the black plastic around the rear view mirrors. It won't come off with a regular wet rag. What is a safe way of removing this wax?

I first released the handle by pulling down on the strap while tightening the fasteners. Next i pressed down the primary button and removed the safety shield cover, while turning the main scew to loosen the sping tension, only then winding some excess back onto a spool. I continued loosening the screws on the top plate lid and was able to properly insert the aluminum tabs into the rear slots. I rotated the main throttle control a quarter turn, before lowering both front levers. Dropping the main crank into the neutral position, I was careful not to completely unscrew the main housing assembly before engaging the clutch. i plugged in the starter and smoke filled the garage as the whole thing shuddered and finally stalled. I know it is a fire hazard but I wanted to fix it for pleasure use only. Does any one have a fix for this or know where i can find a decent used one? What should I do?

I have a 1.5 Peugeot 106 Diesel. Its got a 118000 on the clock and has had a fair amount of repairs, including new clutch, new alternator, new drivebelt, new battery and new brakes back and front.

Recently its start to drive as if a learner is behind the wheel (No its not my driving!). It decides to accelerate on its own as if you have a crap driver who has no clutch control and is very jerky. It feels like you have under average acceleration and then it suddenly gains a lot of power even though my foot has not moved on the accelerator. What could be the problem?

Does it just need a service or is it something more serious? I know it needs new glow plugs but that shouldnt be causing this problem. Im getting a full service done on Tuesday but I just wondered if anyone had any ideas why Im getting these sudden bursts of unwanted acceleration?

I'm having problems with the fan not turning on unless the A/C is on. I've replaced the sensors, thermostat, radiator, etc. but no success in getting the fan to kick on when the engine heats up without the A/C on. In reading previous email strings, I've heard this is a common problem that can be fixed by replacing the radiator fan relay control..if I knew where it was located. Can someone help me out with this?

Thanks
