It's according to how lose is the plug. You can get anything from loud explosions, to backfiring. I took a wire completely off of as four cylinder car ( Datsun 210 ) as a trick on a friend. He cranked up and drove off normally. I had to catch him and tell him.

Good Luck

Yes, your car will start sputtering and will create a miss in the engine.

It may run rough, and you hear an exhaust leak, though it may run good, but you still hear air leaking. If it comes out completely, you will have a dead miss with a large popping noise.

It will run rough and you will lose power. In an 8 cyl, it will run rough, a 4cyl may not run at all.

4-cylinder car will run rough, 6-cylinder you might not even notice unless you calculate your mpg.
