Oil filter?

Can a bend in the canister of a small oil filter cause a loss of oil pressure in the system?

It depends on the nature of the bend but why put up with second rate products!!!

If it resticts the flow of oil, and it can mess up yr oil pump, and heat up and burn out yr engine.

No, but that has become a weak spot and may or may not blow, and loose your oil from that point.....
