Hi, I just got financed by a car company..not a major company like, ford, honda..or anything like that but a local car dealership. It took a month but they finally apporved my financing...this is my fist car and I was wondering...what do I need to get my tag...I thought they were going to mail me something...but I haven't received anything. Do you get your title before you finish paying it off or after you finish paying it off....I also talked to someone that I know that sells cars and they said the tag office should have my information and to call them....Is that correct? Im going to call the dealership but I just wanted to ask in the meantime...

My response: I am not sure of who will reimburse me for having to take public transportation because my vehicle was not drivable after the accident.

On July 6, I spent $24.00 to drop my daughter off at school, pick up, and to and from my job.

Then I purchased a 7 day pass for $20.00 for the next 5 weeks totaling $100.00, $20.00 for a 7 day pass for my daughter for her last week of school during the week of July 6 to Jul 13.

The total was $144.00 not including the $100.00 deposit that I had to put down to get the rental car which they deducted $35.13 for taxes.

Thank you

Agent Response: I wanted to advise you that we will instruct our insured to issue a second and final payment for damages/expenses related to this loss but must request that you come in to our office prior to doing so and sign the Release form that we had previously prepared.
Please contact our office to schedule an appointment that is convenient for you.
Thank you,

I heard after you get you're learners permit, you can go and get a drivers ed pink slip. I hear stories how after you get you're drivers ed pink slip its like a temporary license, which means you can drive without having the actual license. Im in the class 2010, so i want to know if i can drive when i turn 16.

So if i do can get my drivers ed pink slip will it expire, if so can i renew it???

My current insurance is with state farm; just a question; if i got hit by someone without car insurance and is their fault; they dont have any money to pay for my damage; since i dont have the uninsure motor coverage but i have collision with deductible of 500 dollar; would my collision cover me after i pay the 500 dollar? i guess my real question is what is the point of having uninsure motor coverage when i have collision coverage? would i need both? or just collision would be sufficient?

I’ve been living in the Fort Lauderdale area in Florida for almost 5 months now, and before I lived in Michigan. While living there, I got 2 speeding (10 miles/hr over) tickets and paid them right away…but I got stuck with points in my driving record and I can’t get a decent insurance rate now. I’ve heard of a course that you can take to reduce/get rid of those points. Does anybody know about this course and if so, do they have it in south Florida?

Thanks!

I have seen many ads for GEICO but I do not know anyone that has tried them. I currently have PROGRESSIVE but do not think I am getting a great rate with them.

Last month i was in a car acccident. A guy ran a red light. There was no witnesses or anything. So it is as of just this week that my insurance called his and his said that they were taking full responibility. My car is totalled completely air bags came out and everything, I broke my collar bone, and have lost wages for three weeks. I am back to work now on a limited duty.
So I have at least probably 4000 dollars in medical. I haven't paid that though because i have health insurance, but some people say that they will be looking to be reinbursed??? I don't know about that though.
I have no car.....I paid 500 dollars for the towing and storage that came out of my pocket....
How much shoud i be looking for on a settlement.
I will get some pain and suffering because i am just now able to move my arm and still can't pick up hardly anything..

So any suggestions on which way i should run from this.
Im not looking to make off with a huge settlement, but i want what i am due.

Well , I bought a car 1 year ago ( 2001 Audi A4 quatro turbo ) for which I'm paying 435 $ montly x 48 months . Almost immediatly it started breaking down on me , after 3 repairs I just stopped driving it , since I have my old car ; so for 6 months I was driving my old car. I got a little tired driving old nissan maxima , so I went back to Audi , on the second day going to work poor car started making really loud noise and I noticed oil leaking from underneath of the car.
So , now I'm oficially through paying for the car that I dont drive and that breaks down all the time.
Thats where my problem comes in : how do I get rid of it w/o hurting my credit history ? I asked about lemon law , but unfortunately it applyes only to new cars . If you guys know some way to help me , I would really apreciate that . Thanks .

We have a Direct Line policy where named drivers can build their own no claims bonus. She's had an accident (at fault) twice in just over a year.

When quoting for a new policy do I enter that I'VE had the accidents (i.e. I have no "no claims") or her? Or - is it both of us? (Which makes us both look terrible...d'oh!)

Any help appreciated.

Would getting just a P.O. Box there do it? There are companies that help with this, right? What if you need to show something like an electric bill or gas bill as proof you live there?
