i have just bought my first car and i have all the insurance and mot forms and everything and im just waiting till thursday to tax my car for december. Is it possible to drive my car thursday before the tax starts on the 1st of december?

No. Driving the car before the tax starts is illegal, the same as driving without tax and will be treated by the Police as such.

An absolutely NO WAY

Not allowed as you would be using it untaxed for the day that is in question

Probably not worth getting into bother with your first car before you have even had chance to use it

You have probably waited a long time to get to this point. Be patient and wait just a few more hours to get it right

You could go out just past midnight

Either way drive it safely and as you have been taught all these past few months and don't become a Christmas statistic or worse an organ doner cos that would really ruin your family's Christmas

it is illegal to drive the car before the tax has started or keep the vehicle on the road during that period. if you get caught by a tax camera during that time you're liable for prosecution, however if you're fairly confident there are none around where you would be driving, nobody would be the wiser..

No its better for you to received your road tax first because its illegal to drive without a road tax

are you talking tags? those should have been taken car of by the dealer, or at least given you a temp tag

No and you shouldn't have it parked on the street either so if you have a driveway get it in there. you only have to wait til thur, be patient!!
