I’ve been living in the Fort Lauderdale area in Florida for almost 5 months now, and before I lived in Michigan. While living there, I got 2 speeding (10 miles/hr over) tickets and paid them right away…but I got stuck with points in my driving record and I can’t get a decent insurance rate now. I’ve heard of a course that you can take to reduce/get rid of those points. Does anybody know about this course and if so, do they have it in south Florida?

Thanks!

ITS BEST IF YOU CONTACT YOUR LOCAL (DMV) DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES OFFICE, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS AND AT THE SAME TIME YOU WILL BE GETTING THE CORRECT ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION.

Florida has driving schools that remove points. You get a ton of mail from them when you get a ticket. I don't think you can remove points from another State though. This needs to be done within a certain time period of getting the ticket.
