if there is a warrant out for a failure to appear on a traffic ticket in California, can that person move to Texas and get a new driver's license? will Texas check California records or does each state operate independently. So basically, the question, does someone have to clean up their record in Ca in order to get a license in Texas?

My husband and I live in Ohio. We were in a car accident this week, where a van backed into my car (which was not moving). The guy was very nice, and his insurance company called me later that day. When the insurance company called me again a few days later, I told her I wanted to use my own garage (in actuality, we want to fix the car at home) and that we are getting quotes. She told me my quotes don't matter, that they don't even want them, and that the insurance company will GIVE me my quote. Then she had the gall to ask if I thought she was going to lie to me. (haha). Can they DO this? Can they refuse to even use my quotes? I know that I can hire a lawyer to sue her client, but I want to be sure that the check comes to ME in MY name. The car is in my name, it isn't leased. A friend of mine works in insurance, and told me to tell their insurance company anymore that my lawyer advised me not to speak to them again. (I don't have a lawyer yet). So now what? Can they DO that??

Some lady hit the car I was driving from behind (on the left side) and her insurance company wants me to pay for it. What happens if I just don't pay it? The car was registered and insured under my friends’ name. Would she be liable for it if I don't pay it?

I was reently rear-ended, my vehicle was totaled. My MEDICAL insurance paid for all our medical costs, does that mean that the other drivers car insurance company gets away without paying anything. At the hospital I gave all my medical insurance info, recently I got a letter from the hospital saying that all cost were already paid by my MEDICAL insurance company. Is the other drivers CAR insurance company gonna get away without paying anything? They have accepted FULL fault, since I was rear-ened.

Apparently I didnt get the lowest rate because I didnt open an account or have a loan before age 25. What the F? does that have to do with the ability to drive a car? Also not because of no history of car loans or leases. Once again, What the F? does that have to do with the ability to drive a car? Also not because I have 2 accounts in good standing. I need more? or less? Once again, What the F? does that have to do with the ability to drive a car? Your company has never paid one dime to me or because of me. YET YOU BASE YOUR PREMIUMS ON NON RELATED ISSUES! F?ING BITE ME, WHAT A BUNCH OF SCAM ARTISTS! No wonder people commit insurance fraud. Because insurance companys F? you all the time. Another good one, recoupment fee. If you get money you have to pay it back. What was the purpose of the insurance in the first place? Now I know why we need billions of gallons of oil so much. Vaseline is a by product.

on 7Feb07 I was rear-ended by some idiot who was not paying attention. My car was totaled! his TRUCK (F-150) had minor damage, broken headlight and bumper was a little damaged. I had 95 mitsubishi eclise with about 197K miles (I know MANY miles) the car had about $3,000 in add-on's; Full Kombat Blitz body kit, custom paintjob, 17"rims, and many more. The Kelly Blue Book value for my car is $2,600. The insurance company is only giving me $2,400!! My car is trashed, when the guy in the druk hit me, he sent me against a rock wall. My car was unique, it will cost me at least $3,000 to get it looking like it used to. Can I get the insurance to company to either A. Fix my car to the way it used to look like or B. Give me at least $5,000 for the car and all the add ons. I have pics of the car on http://www.myspace.com/HORSE10029 PLEASE HELP.
