My wife listed me as an excluded driver (for one reason or another, who knows?) on her insurance. I have my own car and my own insurance (this car doesn't run at the moment). Am I OK to drive her car or not?

I couldn't renew my N.C. driver's license today because the state of New Jersey blocked its renewal until I pay for an unpaid parking ticket issued in 1989: 18 years ago! I was not even aware that I had this ticket; I was never notified. Now I must pay the ticket in New Jersey AND pay $100 to the New Jersey DMV to lift the suspension on my license. I have read that the National Drivers Registry is increasingly making communication among states possible. Such sharing of data and linking license suspension or non-renewal to such things as even "failure to return library books" is scary from a point of view of privacy. Have others had this experience? Was it time-consuming to solve the problem and get your license renewed?

For auto insurance claims, when the other party is 100% at fault why will the insurance not pay 100% of the estimated damages?

I have three estimates, all within $100 of each other and their insurance company is refusing to pay the full amount. They will only pay a fraction of the damages.

How do I get them to pay 100%? Why are they putting up a fight when the other person was 100% at fault?

That is, even though my car insurance covers rentals, I have a 500 dollar deductible. Does getting the rental truck insurance make it so there is no deductible in case of an accident?

I was caught on camera doing 70 mph in a 60 area. Hands up, my stupid mistake, first offence after nearly 40 years driving. I will have to pay any fine imposed but, paying extra for insurance is sort of a doule whammy. No doubt it will cost extra for insurance now but, roughly how much?

I would like to know whether an individual who plead guilty for driving without a car insurance (UK) get his name put on criminal record list.
It seems to me unlikely because people normally get points of their licenses and a fine.

My Husband crashed my car today - thankfully although very sore he is ok. He hit a bollard on a round about at approx 25miles an hour. There was an oil spill on the road and the car just glided. Thankfully we have a witness and the Police were very helpful. The highways guys were there within 15 minutes to clean the road. Apparently there had already been 4 crashes there this week! The insurance company are asking my husband to accept responsibility! I have told him not to. Have you been in a similar situation? Advice welcome. Thanks

My car was stolen early Saturday morning, and it was returned to me this morning.. I was wondering if it were possible to sue them. Considering the fact that i missed 2 days of school and work, and there was severe damage done to my car.

insurance. It was with a school bus on the interstate and involved, I think 2 other cars. My car was the ony one totaled. '96 Honda Civic LX, State Trooper estemated $10,000 in damages. My husband was ok...flung around but the bus driver was rushed to the hospital because she complained of neck pain. What do we do? I am sure we are going to be sued. If we get insurance today...will that do anything?!
