If you can afford a Lambo then can't you afford a little body work? Probably you can afford it easier than going after a little old lady for it.

I am an insurance adjuster. Is the claim department denying your claim, or your agent? If your agent, insist the claim be reported to the claims department.

How much time passed from when the accident occurred to when you reported? For the claim to be denied, there would have to be an incredible amount of time between the two. I have never seen a first party collision claim denied on this basis, as you have not prejudiced the insurance companies position.

You can:

1. Report the carrier to your state's Department of Insurance.
2. Send a letter to the carrier threatening bad faith.
3. Can't you pursue the "old lady".
4. Obtain an estimate for the repairs and take the responsible party, and your insurance company to Small Claims Court.

You didn't file an accident report because you don't have a Lamborghini Murcielago. This is a $650,000.00 car. I'm from Texas, and you can't bull **** an old bull shitter like me. Good try, better luck next time.

Here's what you do. Learn from your mistake. Next time file an accident report! This time you're stuck with the repair bill - SOL. But, what are you doing driving a car you can't afford to fix? A Lambo at that...

The insurance company discovered it was a papier mache Lamborghini body laid over an old k-car, that is why they won't pay.

Listen up. Any time you have an antique car and
you put it on the road you better get special
insurance. It is available but you have to ask for
it. If you don't, then the insurance company
looks at your vehicle and say, "well then this is
an old car and the blue book says that it's worth
about 400.00." See what I mean?
