If you have an accident, they will loan you some money to get your car fixed, and then you pay them back in the form of higher rates.
They can't lose. Even with all the fraud, they still make zillions.
The only way to beat them is to be wealthy enough to post a bond large enough to make you exempt from the requirement.

That would be fair, and if you did have a claim, they should ask for a bunch more money, right? Sorry, but taken to the maximum this would be to paying for insurance only when we need it.

That's a big negative. however, depending on your ins co, after a few years w/o a claim they will discount your premium.
