I was reently rear-ended, my vehicle was totaled. My MEDICAL insurance paid for all our medical costs, does that mean that the other drivers car insurance company gets away without paying anything. At the hospital I gave all my medical insurance info, recently I got a letter from the hospital saying that all cost were already paid by my MEDICAL insurance company. Is the other drivers CAR insurance company gonna get away without paying anything? They have accepted FULL fault, since I was rear-ened.

No, this does not mean they got away. The way insurance works is that your bills and other expenses if you carry the coverage, are paid by your insurance. Your pain and suffering is paid by the at-fault driver's insurance. You should call them and get clarification. If there's something in the law that would prevent you from making that claim that's MO specific they will tell you. Otherwise your bills are ALWAYS paid by your own carrier or health insurance and then pain and suffering from the other carrier.

correct. they will not pay any of your medical bills. medical bills are not able to be subrogated. your car insurance company will pay the medical bills that your medical insurance paid. the medical insurance company will bill your auto insurance carrier if they know it was a car accident.
but your insurance carrier will bill the other car's insurance company for the damage to your vehicle and they will give you your deductable back if you paid one.
if i were you i would call up the other insurance carrier and atleast try to get a pain and suffering claim so they can give you some money.
with insurance questions, knowing what state it happened in helps

when you get in an accident, all medical bills are paid by YOUR INS. and if you had passengers, it gets covered under THEIR car insurace. If your medical bills exceed what you have for car insurace, it then is paid by your health insurance. If the accident was really bad, and your fund are used up, you have to sue the other party for medical expenses. It sucks, and do you know , insursed drivers also pay in their premium for underinsured and uninsured motorists? Yup, insurance is a dam scam. Ready the fine lines, they will never tell you about.

Get your health insurance and car insurance companies to go after the other party's insurance to repay your health insurance company. It shouldn't be YOUR insurance company that has to pay for this, they should be reimbursed and drive up the other party's costs.
