how do i do this and what do I have to buy. I know i need to get the tires, but do I also need rims? will wider tires work on my stock rims? Please help me

now when i turned the steering wheel on either side about one turn then i hear a noise from steering column. I have asked a mechanic shop who specialize in repair Japaneese car and after he turned the steering wheel he told me the coupling in steering column was a manufacter defected and that very common problem with the Toyota Camry 2002 to 2004 model.Because my car only 22,500 miles so he told me to call Toyota to find out if it still cover under warranty. I did call the Toyota and their anwers is my car is nolonger under warranty. I
brought my car to a Toyota dealer and after i told the noise of the steering wheel ,he immediately knew what parts is defected and quote me $ 550 for the repair even without turn the steering wheel or open the car hood.Does anyone own a 2003 Camry and has the same problem with my car? I think the Toyota must honor the repair for fixing the steering wheel if that parts they installed was a manufacter defected . Do you agree?

I have my oil changed regularly. The other day my car would not start. When I raised the hood the positive batty post and cable were covered in corosion. It had eaten the cables, all the way down to the wiring harness and was headed to the starter. (thats what nissan said). Does it seem possible that there could be that much corosion in the 3 months since my last oil change to do that much damage. I am in no way a mechanic but it seems to me like when you have a fairly new car, you should not have this kind of problem so soon. Oh and did I mention it is going to be 1200.00 to fix because appartently it is considered my fault!

I can pull up on the outside bottom of my drivers seat and it will lift up completely off the rail. The power functions still work but if you go around a curve too sharp , the seat tilts off the ground on that side. I've looked at it and can't really see if there are any loose components down there.

I have tried everything. I changed the brake pads, pasengers side caliper (it was craked) I even bled all the lines well the ones I could get fluid to come out of. I took the Master Cylinder Resivor off of the master cylinder to check that, dumped out the brake fluid and there was black stuff in it. I don't understand why my brakes worked before I changed them and now I have no brakes at all brake pedal goes all the way to the floor. I am not sure if it is the master cylinder (hope not) or maybe the hydralics is clogged or somthing. I have been at this now for 3 days baffled. PLEASE HELP!! Thanks in advance.

I reciently purchased one and I seem to be having difficulties with driving it. I have always had a 4 cyl and never had problems but realize this is a bigger and heavier car to drive. My question is if you slow down before you hit a hill and then try to speed up again does the the car buck? Like it is having a problem getting into gear? Mine does. Do I need fuel injection cleaner? I know this helped another car I had took care of all that But this is new to me and am weary of putting it in. What do you think?

My 2006 Jetta TDI is ready for its 40,000 mile service (yes I drive a lot). The quote from the dealer was for a crazy amount of money. Does anyone know a reliable shop with experience working on TDIs in the Houston area? (prefferably on the east side).
Thanks

In April 2006 I bought a 95 Hyundai Accent (2dr) and I have been steadily paying for replacement door handles (inside and out) window tracks and the control panel where the heat/air/radio controls are. We go to the junk yards to obtain these parts and in most cases they are already gone, which tells me that it is a typical, on-going problem with Hyundai.

So my question is: Is this so with the newer models of Hyundai? I love my car but it's a cosmetic nightmare and it's been costing me a slow fortune. I really want a newer Hyundai Accent but I'm not sure it's worth it.

I have a pontiac grand am its a 1999 it has about 123,000 miles on it. I have had work done on it including a new alternator and fuel pump and brake work.

But lately it has been doing just fine with regular oil changes but up to how many miles roughly would you say it will run okay? I remember my dad's buick almost got up to 200,000 miles. I would just like to know what usually are the first signs the car is not worth driving anymore because I don't want to spend that much money in its late years rather than just selling it.

Thanks

a 10 passenger Chevy Suburban? looks like they only make them in 9 passenger... I thought they used to make them with more seating than that.
