Also my car hesitates to start on the first try, it seems it could be the starter do you suggest I change the starter or get a diagnostic first?

the diagnostic is the best option since hesitates problems are electrical problems and the starter had nothing to do with
starter just start the engine nothing less so if the starter is working fine no problem with it, so the hesitates is an electrical issue and with all those lights on you must go for an ECU scan

Get the diagnostic first and save yourself the some money. With the check engine, vsc, and trac off I would assume you can possibly have a computer issue/malfunction. It can be this computer issue causing your xb to hesitate when starting.

All of those lights are on in my 05 xB too! My best friends did it also in her 05 xB. Go to the dealer and ask them to reset the lights. It's a common problem in the xB.

there are many reasons such as leaving gas cap off and starting. Get hooked to diag machine and find out.

Have the codes cleared. Then see if they come back on.
