I can pull up on the outside bottom of my drivers seat and it will lift up completely off the rail. The power functions still work but if you go around a curve too sharp , the seat tilts off the ground on that side. I've looked at it and can't really see if there are any loose components down there.

pull the seat out and fix it 4 bolts hold it

The seat up and down adjuster has broken and a expensive seat part needs replacing. A point can be made it is unsafe moving like it does and ask if you can get the part covered by Nissan Warranty Goodwill. You did not state what year or how many miles you have on the car. I does not hurt to ask. By the way the Murano is a great SUV. Now there is the Rogue looks like a 7/8 scale Murano based on sentra mechanicals it too is very nice
