I have a 2000 Mazda B-3000 (Ford Ranger) with the 3.0L V6. It seems really weak, I know it only has about 150hp but it also has about 35,000 miles on it. Could my engine be wearing out? I bought it used so I don't know how well the previous owner took care of it.

I have this crancking noise when I take a sharp turn at low speed, specially after I come to a stop. It seems to be coming from under the steering column/ dash board/ right front wheel??? It sounds more mechanical than electrical and it's like a twisting or torsion on a spring. I took a look inside around and behind the wheels, checked the power steering fluid...everything seems to be ok. Any answers out there?

I traded in my old 05 impala (trouble maker) for the altima

So far I love it.
-CVT Transmission is awesome
-It's so powerful
-It smells so good inside
-It only has 6 miles on it
-It is so solid

Good Choice?

Can a honda accord still be getting spark if the ingitor in the distributor is bad? I am getting spark, and fuel. It can't be the main power relay if the fuel pump is working, the filter is good, and it is getting spark. Can it be the ignitor, or is the ignitor good if I am getting spark?
Thanks

I have a 2000 ford taurus with 125000 miles. Someone told me that the average life span of a ford taurus was 130,000... sooo I was just wondering how many miles do you have or had on your ford taurus before it died.

I just brough a honda prelude 99, ac doesn't work. I turn on the car and the ac seem not to be engaged. I though it would be the fuse, but can't seem to find the location of the fuse. Does anybody know where the exactly location of the fuse for the ac compressor. I checked the fuse box on the side of the motor but didn't see anything that say fuse for ac, unless it was name something else. Any body know what would slove this problem.

I know a heator core is supposed to look like a mini radiator inside the dashboard, and I believe I have located it in the dash
behind where the glove box would be....doe anyone know if there is more than one of these mini radiators located inside the dashboard? Or just the one unit? Is the Heater Core for a 1996 Plymouth Voyager located in the spot I just described?

I pulled codes on it from the ignition switch and got a code P0700 (the same thing Auto Zone told me the other night). What does this mean and how to fix? By the way - the is the same van that had the speedometer dial stuck backwards a few weeks ago - it did it again a couple of days before the light went on. I also noticed that when I push on the brake pedal I hear noise from the pedal itself.

I have a 2000 model Chevy Astro with AWD. For some time now, it has developed a noise that sounds like a thumping underneath. The noise occurs after running up to speed and then letting off the gas. At about 40 and below, it does not occur. I have checked the U-joints visually, but they appear to be OK. I am suspecting the AWD transfer case as the source. Can any of you mechanically talented people shed any light on this one?

My wifes automatic transmission is slipping bad and I have taken it in to the shop to be diagnosed. If it needs to be rebuilt, What is a decent estimate of how much it should cost? Just dont want to be ripped off. Thank you, Rob
