I know a heator core is supposed to look like a mini radiator inside the dashboard, and I believe I have located it in the dash
behind where the glove box would be....doe anyone know if there is more than one of these mini radiators located inside the dashboard? Or just the one unit? Is the Heater Core for a 1996 Plymouth Voyager located in the spot I just described?

The only other thing in there that you'd come across is the A/C evaporator, and it does also kind of resemble a mini radiator. They are both in the same general location, so you may have found the heater core, or the A/C evaporator.

Heater core has two rubber hoses connecting to it, the Evap has an aluminum line fitting with 2 lines bolted to it.

Its first concern is it particularly is a ninety six Voyager they do no longer seem to be user-friendly for reliability! i might say that one in all your gas injectors has fallen aside and the top of it has fell into the cylinder specifically circumstances it particularly is a huge concern different cases it is going out the exhaust valve and not something ever happens, or the injector must be caught open. it particularly is dumping uncooked gas into the engine and is no longer in a position to burn it and that's the reason it particularly is popping out the exhaust, get a IR thermometer and component it on the exhaust manifold jointly because it particularly is working and in case you have one port or cylinder it particularly is plenty cooler than something (i'm valuable you will) it particularly is the cylinder with the situation, you are able to hit upon the situation cylinder rapid with a IR thermometer. there's no longer plenty else it must be different than a failed injector.
