You can put wider tires on your rims to a point.

The way you get the tires to stick out is with less wheel backspacing. You can also use spacers but their safety is questionable.

You might regret it. Spacing wheels out like that is harder on the wheel bearings. It messes with the steering geometry so you'll probably get a bigger turning circle. It'll be harder to keep the tires from hitting the fenders when you steer. Wide tires push more air around so you might take a MPG hit (and an MPH hit). And they're more likely to slide on wet roads or snow.

Purchase a 10" offset wide RIMs that will give you the 1-1/2 inch of tire sticking out.

You'll most likely need wider rims too if you change the tire size to a wider tire to prevent premature tire wear. You also should git rubber tire well extenders too to keep from throwing road debris on other cars......George

look actually, it actually relies upon on the load of the trailer, and its contents. I also have a 'ninety 5 C1500 with a 4.3L (short mattress) GVRW is 7600 Lbs. it fairly is 4000 lb truck, so in elementary terms 3600 lb towing ability. SO, i could % the 5.7L in a C1500. additionally placed funds right into a Reese Hitch classification 3 or 4, reason the customary bumper in elementary terms holds like 4 hundred Tongue weight and 4000 lb pull. look into the load specs on the two till now finding out.

Either off-set rims or wheel spacers. Wheel spacers are the cheapest and you can use your rims/tires.
