I want duplicate my key for my 98 ford mustang and i tried making one at walmart but i tried the key on my car and it wouldnt start it, it acted like it was going to but nothing. So I found out it was becuase the key has a chip. So how much will it cost to get a key with a chip for my car? Also maybe the electric clicked to open the doors etc?

I just bought a 2004 GTO. When i push the lock button on the remote the car beeps rapidly and the alarm is set but the dorrs dont lock. both doors are shut tight. what am i doing wrong?

I have to wait 3 minutes for the tranny to warm up and once i do i put it in drive and it slams....into drive. if i stop and change gears i have to wait again another 3 minutes for it to work again but it slams again!!! what could be wrong?

This was my dream car in high school and now that I've graduated from college and am working I thought of picking one up finally. I know someone who is willing to sell a '97 VR4 around 45k mi for about $17k. I need the car to last roughly 5 to 10 years. Is this a good deal? Will it last 5 - 10 years? And how much can I expect to pay annually on maintinence? Finally, if I don't get this particuar car are 3000GT's really worth their blue book price or should I go lower?

I’m looking for an old bmw commercial that I saw in the movie theater a long time ago.
The commercial features a professional driver racing thought a city (I don’t know which city). It also shows him racing over a train track right before the train gets there. He is driving a bmw Z3 I think it’s a 1996. Any way it’s a really cool commercial that I would like to find and watch again so if you know of a website were it may be that would be great. Thanks

The battery keeps on dying from a short in the electrical system. I fixed it once by unplugging the electrical seatbelt fuses, but it only lasted a couple months. Also when you press on the brakes the headlights will light up. Any ideas????

inside is a port with a wire mesh screen in the bottom, iv'e been told this port is for 30w motor oil, do i have correct information, and if so how much oil, another person told me if i put oil in the hole the pump would stop working, my thoughts are that mercedes could have built the pump to use the engine oil inside the block for lubrication to the injector pump but then again i'm asking because i don't really know, can anyone tell me about this?

I am having problems with switching it into 4 wheel drive, its been snowy and icy around here and i slide down a damn hill today because it was icy then floored it and almost hit a telephone pole, so when i got into my car a couple hours after that a weird grinding noise was coming from the 4wd lever and wouldnt get back into 2wd, i dont think my trans is going out bc i just got it flushed out and well maintaned, i've been having a problem with it lately and everytime i seem to drop in 4wd it just grinds and doesnt want to go into it, i dono wat is wrong with my car these things run forever i just dont know if i should sell it bc i dont feel like dealing with car problems, help please jeep nation

i have a EG8 D15B 1.5 Single Cam Black top fuel injected engine....my Crankshaft pully give way & i decided to change my engine .....but i'm ONLY buying the HEAD & BLOCK.....& i'll use the other parts from the old engine......I'm buying a Foreign Used engine (Head & Block) what i need to know is " How can you tell if the engine is a GOOD ENGINE ...?" In the auto places i visit... the Engine is lying on the ground in a row & all you have to do is choose a engine & the guy will strip it & take out what you paying for ....it's like you paying for something with just takin their word for it that it's working...... Can Anyone tell me what to look for on the engine that tells me that the engine (Head & Block) i'm buying is working properly.....thanks alot Another thing can anyone tell me what is the difference between a Black Head Engine & the other kind without the black head.....

keep a extra used one, in a clean bag in the trunk just in case, out on a long trip i'm sure it would not be easy to find a used pump, so if i need to replace it will i be in for problems other than just bleeding the injectors?

I own a jeep cherokee sport 2wd. im tried of being stuck and plan to get diff locks i just want to know how much better it will be before i spend the 200 dollars... also im 16 and there is no chance of me trading it in for a 4x4 so thats out of the question. ive put more agressive tires on but there no chance of doing anything serious with limited slip. also what are other ways to make it better off road???
