The Camry XLE is the most expensive Camry model. It has more options and accessories to choose from and more standard features. The LE is the second cheapest Camry model and it basically comes with some luxury features, but mostly the bare necessities. The CE is the blah Camry. It's the cheapest and lowest equipped. But, they also make an SE Camry which you didn't mention. This is the second most expensive Camry which is a lot sportier than the rest of the Camrys.

Yeah most likely its an LE. Most Camrys made are LE's. I have an XLE and its the top-of-the-line. Toyota has been known to change their trim lines however. Currently the 2007 trims are LE, SE, XLE, and hybrid. V6's engines are available in the LE, and XLE and possibly SE but I'm not sure. Toyota doesn't offer CE and more and know LE is the base model. CE replaced DE(deluxe edition) back in the mid 90's.

These are different trim lines which means that they are equiped differently. The CE is the base model which is just bare bones, while the XLE is the luxurious trim line with available leather seats, navigation system, etc. The LE is the middle trim line combining both the simplicity of the CE and the comfort of the XLE.

XLE is the luxurious model, LE is the middle of the road model, CE is the basic model, I think that CE with the LE package is where a basic model has all the bells and whistles.

if 2007's they are all junk. DO NOT OVERLOOK THIS COMMENT. Toyotas quality as been slipping as they have grown in size, just look at this website: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news04/2006/10/toyota_quality.html That website is also good for looking at how many recalls they had, and how severe they were. Toyota had the most recalls in 2006, and at their highest recalled 800,000 in July alone. Reputation is the only thing saving Toyota from what happened to Detroit's big 3. Toyota is the only company that could say paint drips have a purpose and get away with it. A lot of their cars have also been scored in bad positions in many reviews, such as Corolla 5/6 by Car and Driver, and Yaris in 4/4 by Smart Money magazine. While Toyota has lost ground GM has stepped it up, sweeping awards for North American Car of the Year, a feat done only once before by Honda in 2005. The Chevy Silverado and Saturn Aura were the winners. If you are considering a Camry, you HAVE to test the Aura. It is definetly, the best midsize sedan to hit the market in history. It combines European styling and ride, with great quality and tons of standard options including a V6 and automatic transmission, saving you thousands already. Just look at these reviews (search lowest first on both).
Saturn Aura lowest rating: 7.6, but still positive: http://www.edmunds.com/new/2007/saturn/aura/100715083/ratings_consumersdetail.html?dcr_usein=n&modelid=100505067&tid=edmunds.n.ratings_consumersdetail.content..2.Saturn*&dcr_sid=100715082&sortby=lowestRate
Toyota CAmry, lowest rating 1.5: http://www.edmunds.com/new/2007/toyota/camry/100699452/ratings_consumersdetail.html?dcr_usein=n&modelid=100506010&tid=edmunds.n.ratings_consumersdetail.content..2.Toyota*&dcr_sid=&sortby=lowestRate
The Aura has a longer warranty, if you build 'em better, you back 'em better. The CAmry has already has a major recall for a defective transmission, but is still receiving many formal complaints to the NHSTA. Toyota has changed for the worse, GM for the better. Its time we all gave GM a chance, they could now prove the stereotype is wrong.
