Remove the wheel. Loosen the big nut in the center of the hub. You may have to have some one hold the brake very tightly to get it loose. Tap slightly on the end of the axle with a deadblow hammer to loosen the axle in the hub. Remove the caliper and rotor. Look on the backside of the steering knuckle for three 9/16 12 point bolt heads. Loosen these just a few turns and rap on them with a hammer to loosen the hub/bearing assembly in the knuckle. Remove these bolts and remove that assembly, then carefully remove the axle from the housing, being careful not to let the inside end drop and destroy the seal, because it is way in next to the differential and hard to replace without special tools. Press out the u-joint and press in the new. Replace axle very carefully. Reinstall the other parts in reverse order and you are done. I don't remember the torque specs on the axle nut, but I will leave that to you to research.

The motor vehicle speed sensors are placed on the output shaft of the flow case and yet another on the output shaft of the transmission.. There are 3 for the ABS. One is on the differential, the others are on each and each front hub. An inoperative VSS will reason shifting issues via fact the pc would not understand how briskly you're going. i might first attempt disconnecting the sensors and cleansing the connections first. If cleansing solves the topic, or in case you're able to substitute the sensors, be advantageous to coat the connections with dielectric grease to maintain out moisture.
