In the last two years, my car has begun to act up, and the frequency is increasing.

Specifically, my car will sometimes decide that it wants to idle at a very high rate, and it accelerates on its own!

Anybody heard of this?!

2005 VW Golf 1.6 SE. Oil and filter change from main dealer.......?

I have been quoted £120 plus VAT for an oil and filter change on my car. It is coming up to one year old and according to VW all thats needed is an oil/filter change. The main dealer prices are rediculous. Will using and independent garage make my warranty void? And what about re-setting the service due computer warning data?

My 2002 Honda Accord Dash lights and tail lights!?

The headlights turn on when I turn the switch, but the dash lights and tail lights won't come on. What's more, the green transmission position indicator and green a/c light don't dim like normal when I turn on the headlights. I checked the fuse, it looks fine. Suggestions??

What needed to put alot of torque in a F-250?

I have a 2001 Ford F-250 v8 deisel. I want to make it have alot of torque. I want it to be able to have the front end lift off the ground. it has a 6inch lift and 36's... What needed? and I only have about $7,000 left to spend.

99 grand am and flat tires?

I have a 99 grand am that i bought used. I think it was 4 years old when i got it. i have had 6 flat tires in a span of a year. all of them have been slow leaks , that i never caught until they were flat. i have always had issues keeping air in the tires. i have bought new rims, put tubes in the tires, nothing has helped. has anyone else had this issue with this type of car?

How can I find out what fuse goes to what in the fuse box in a 1980 Chevy Camero?

Headlights, tail lights, and interior lights won't work. Everything else does, break lights, parking lights, engine, radio, etc. Checked engine switch, that's not it. Checked fuses, their good. I would like to find out what fuse goes to what so I can check the wiring.

just being curious ford 5.0?

I have a 1986 5.0 mustang. I have to do head gaskets so since Im in that area I figure I will put rebuilt heads on. So I orderd some old school heads that should be around 60 combustion chamber. Then putting on a edelbrock performer intake and 600 CFM carb. Installing BBK shorty headers too. H pipe is gutted and for a exaust I have flow masters. What do you think this combo would put out for power? No longer the E6 heads so I have better breathing heads and more compression ratio.
