its a universal code only police and emergency vehicle have them the other way around OK, front always amber rear brake red and turn amber only no exception blue is police and other emergency vehicles it was in the hand book when you took the driving test

So,you want to look like a cop. I have a Crown Vic. ,and I have noticed people slowing down when they see my car. They think it's an unmarked trooper car. Lots of fun!

It's illegal unless you are a law enforcement officer. (at least I'm darn near sure it's illegal - I don't know the specific laws for CT but It's been illegal in every state I've lived in).
