I am a nissan master technician that Altima with a 2.5 L engine is a good sedan with enough room for family and it gets almost 29 mpg highway. even the V-6 gets 25 mpg

Did the car come with an owners manual? Check there it will tell the milage MPG for HIGHWAYS and STREETS.
Usually all Nissans are good with gas milage.
IF your car is burning gas quick then you might have a mechanical problem.

I am GUESSING that your car holds about 15-16 gallons.
You should be getting -300+ miles on a full tank MORE or LESS depending on the condition of your car and the areas you drive.

no 4 cylinder burns gas fast get it its worth it
