How long did it take you to get one?
How old were you?
I got it 4 days before I turned 19 and I failed the test 3 times.
However, I passed the permit test when I was 17 like right away.

I have a 2 gas vehicles. I was wondering if it is better to let them warm up or get in and go during the winter. If it is better to let them warm up, how long? My diesel takes bout 15 minutes before it will groan out of the driveway.

I own a 97 Nissan Sentra and a 95 Altima. My husband hit a deer in the sentra and the tranny is out of my altima so we decided to put the radiator from the altima into the sentra (Stupid idea imo!!!) my husband did so and now his entire electrical system is shot. So he put his radiator back in the Sentra and still, nothing works. No power windows, no locks, no lights, no gauges no nothing. Any idea on what to do? He's checked every fuse and they're all good. We are very low income and this is our only vehicle, we really need this car to keep running!

Just working on a think tank. Could anyone mind tell me how much it might costs. The road could be paved. I just need a rough estimate.

I had a high flow catalytic converter installed on my 2003 chevy S-10 and now my check engine light is on. Before installing the cat, I reprogrammed the computer with Hypertech Power Programming. About ten miles after having the cat installed the light came on. I checked with the installer and he said that the O2 sensor looked in need of replacing and AutoZone concured. I replaced the sensor and the light still came on. I then went back to the installer to have him patch a small leak in one of the welds and he said i should try removing the power Programming. I did so, the stupid light came on again!

Any ideas??? Anyone???

Will i just have to go back to running a stock cat?????

My fiance bought a car this morning (used), and as I was putting plates on it, I realized a clear fluid was leaking from the tail pipe. The car was on (heating up as it is winter) at the time, but it did not look like it had been leaking before that. My mechanic took a look at it a few days ago (before the purchase) and could find nothing wrong but a few superficial dents. It was raining at the time he checked the exhaust however, so he may not have realized if fluid was leaking. Any ideas of what the fluid might be/what the problem might be?

Parents think I should buy a brand new Kia- rather than a Toyota Matrix (2004) with 60k miles on it. I'm sooo confused. I really need some opinions.

Well, i am not sure whether this concept is possible or not or whether it is prevailing or not...

Here is how a battery car runs...

BATTERY>>>>>>>>MOTOR>>>>>>>DRIVE>>>>>>CAR RUNs UNTIL LIFE PASSES OUT(battery)

If the battery is re-charged at the same time we can run the vehicle a life time without a single penny for fuel,

What I am trying to tell is why dont we engage a generator which are driven by the wheels of the car. and thus produce electricity and recharge

BATTERY>>>MOTOR>>>WHEEL>>>GENERATOR>>>ELECTRICITY>>>BATTERY

It is only my idea. I dont know whether many have thought or is it currently been using it.

Can u suggest something

I'm due for the 30k scheduled maintenance on my 2005 Honda Accord V6. It includes a 30 point inspection, air filter replacement, oil change, tire rotation and balance, transmission service, etc...The cost was quoted at $489. Is this an average cost?
