I own a 97 Nissan Sentra and a 95 Altima. My husband hit a deer in the sentra and the tranny is out of my altima so we decided to put the radiator from the altima into the sentra (Stupid idea imo!!!) my husband did so and now his entire electrical system is shot. So he put his radiator back in the Sentra and still, nothing works. No power windows, no locks, no lights, no gauges no nothing. Any idea on what to do? He's checked every fuse and they're all good. We are very low income and this is our only vehicle, we really need this car to keep running!

Yes, he checked that fuse and it's not blown.

When we hit the deer it only did body damage and bend in the radiator a little bit. All the lights and gauges have been working fine until my husband tried to switch radiators.

Make sure the battery ground system on the sentra is good. Follow the ground or black cable from the battery to the engine block (where it should connect). Also check for any other ground cables on the battery to make sure they are hooked up. Then check the positive connection from the battery to the starter. I have seen a similar problem before with the battery ground cable getting disconnceted from the engine when repairs were being done. Plus the deer hit may have damaged a cable.

Did you check the main fuse in the engine compartment? They are either located at the battery positive cable post or in the engine compartment fuse/relay box. Many of these main fuses are 60 to 100 amp fuses and bolt in.

you ought to get somebody to verify for a code on you motor vehicle.... attempt checking you gasoline rigidity regulator. it would be on ideal of the manifold off to the motive force area. Pull the vacuum hose off the gasoline rigidity regulator and spot in case you are able to scent gasoline in the hose. in case you do, this desires to get replaced. Now ... the crankshaft sensor will influence electric firing on an identical time as the camshaft impacts gasoline injectors... attempt employing the spark attempt... get a spark plug tester ( i assume approximately $10) and pull a sparkplug cord. and plug the tester in it and floor it... do you spot spark ? confident - crankshaft sensor is great... NO ? then you definitely would desire to envision the Crankshaft sensor, ignition module, coils... ( something electric). additionally in case you're transforming into spark, then it is gasoline proper... in simple terms on account which you get gasoline does no longer mean the injectors are working... notice: the injectors are probably to be ok through fact they circulate undesirable separately and the engine will run tough... so in case you have spark... the gasoline issues to envision is camshaft sensor or the gasoline rigidity regulator.
