they have got from another state to texas so they dont have to take the test
instead only driving test is needed

I am a short female (5 feet) and a new beginner in motorcycling. I am looking to get a sport motorcycle and I have found that Kawasaki Ninja 250 R has the lowest seat height. It is about 29.3 inches high. I also found that I can lower the seat as well. Could the dealer do this? If not, does anyone know a good garage in Detroit Metro who does this?

I just bought an acura integra and i am doing alot of upgrades to it visually. the color of my car are baby blue and white so i was trying to get a baby blue emblem. i was wondering if they sold them at acura dealers or if theirs a website online that sells them.
also is it possible to paint them?

I would like your professional opinion on which car should be my first car. The coices are: 1. A 1968 VW Beetle, runs decent, needs a tune-up and a couple of minor quick fixes, lacks heating. Outside is in good condition, with new paint job. Priced at 1100 or best offer. or 2. A Chevy Cavalier (not sure which year yet, before 1995), doesn't have transmission, not very appealing (dents, scratches, and whatnot). Cheap price tag (500-800 dollars). Please help me out. I was leaning towards the Bug but the heating issue is a big disappointment.

I used to only buy gas at BP stations as they were considered to be the best gasoline, invest in alternative energy sources, and not be tied with middle east oil reserves. However, they recently obtained a permit to increase dumping into Lake Michigan. This dumping includes mercury. So much for the environmentally friendliness BP advertises. Twelve-thousand people, including myself are boycotting BP.

Bought it used, the guy had it warmed up when I got there and we rode it home. It's now the next day and I tried to start it up, and it barely idled, and when I gave it gas it died, I switched the petcock to reserve and it started and drove ok for awhile.

Basically, I am asking "What are the symptoms of a low gas tank?" what are the common ways it acts and all that. may seem like a silly question, but I'm new to these big bikes.
I'm filling it up later anyways. but knowing the common issues with a low tank will help me in the future

I have a '94 Mazda Protege, manual transmission. When I start the car, I hear a loud squeaky sound - its sort of cyclical. (It sounds like something is spinning). I'm told that it could be a belt or a broken water pump. The engine temp. is also running slightly high. The squeak goes away as I shift into 2nd gear and begin driving, then returns when I am parking the car.

As in someone traded it in for one of the dealership's cars and now they want to get it off of their lot because people generally don't go looking for Mazdas at a Chevy dealership?
Will they give you a better deal than if you went to a Mazda dealership looking for a Mazda?
I was thinking about getting a Mazda I saw at a Chevy dealership.

I just bought a 2 year old Grand Am. Most everything seems to be in good shape, CARFAX was clean, former rental car.

From the start I haven't been able to get the car to do the honky thing when I hit lock on the key fob. I followed the instructions (20 times or more) and tried to program it to do it and still wouldn't, Well, twice it did work once, then wouldn't again.

Then a couple days ago, some crazy cut me off and I tried to honk at her. NO horn. I pounded every different spot on the steering wheel for about 30 seconds, and then out of nowhere, suddenly it started working (in all the spots I'd been pounding).

Same thing happened again yesterday. And both times after it worked, when I got out and hit "lock" on the key fob, it did the honky thing.

It still has some factory waranty and I'll be taking it in soon, but I'd like to know what is causing this (faulty wiring?) and why (like, are we thinking this might be a flood car or something?)

I have a 1993 dodge stealth DOHC and it would turn off on me by second shift because their was not enought oil goin to the engine . so i took it to the mechanic and he said it needed a new motor because of the oil that made it turn off in whic it ONLY TURNS OFF after 1st shift but i told him maybe a new oil/fuel filter could be better but he said he could to that but their might be a chance the car may not turn on so now i dont now because i think all it needs is a oil pump but i need some tips or what u guys/girls think so please help me ???

i have a 92 honda civic. And my car just starting making a clunk noise every time i hit the brakes and i can also feel it as i hit the brakes. Someone told me it could be that i need a new caliper but im not really sure. What could be causing this?

heres the situation(i asked a similar question half hour ago or so) the starter was bad and the golf mower wouldnt start anymore, i noticed the battery cable was melted a bit. so i ordered another complete wire harness and cables, so in the mean time i just wrapped it up really good with electrical tape. i replaced the starter with another(had a working used one here) put the positive battery cable back on, then when i put the negative cable on it sparked a bit then i saw smoke coming from the battery cables melting more of the outer coating....what exaclty happened i need some help! thanks!

I just purchased a Fiberglass 442 Ram Air Hood for my 72 Cutlass. I also purchased all hood pins, springs and hardware. I never received instructions with the kit. Does anyone have or know where I can get these instructions??? Tanks!

Ok, I know this question has been asked alot, but today when I was driving my mom's car home, it was raining and I tried to make a left into my street (I was going about 15-20 mph) and my car spun out and hit a curb even though I applied the brakes. I just had my car serviced a new engine put in but as I left the shop I stopped for something to eat and as I was driving my car was spewing out white smoke on the way there. After I finished up and tried to start it again my car just wouldn't start.
