I have a friend who has a 1979 Fiat X1/9 that needs many parts and we can't seem to find much of anything. Is there a good website we could use?

My break lights have been flickering on and off, then when I pull up to a stoplight/sign, it will on occasion start kicking in with the ABS. I know absolutely nothing about vehicles but I need to know if there's a way to disable it, turn it off, anything! It's really scary when it starts doing that.

Hi, my car was stolen from a repair shop that I had left overnight for maintenace work. I say they are negligent for not securing the keys. I filed a claim through their insurance and through my insurance thinking mine would go after them and give me a fair price for what I payed, not the current market value. I heard about the arbitration. Any suggestions on steps I can take to recover more money? plus why should I pay the deductible? Shouldn't I receive money from both insurances? I also incurred other expenses, I had to spend money on notaries, lost time from work, gas money making all these trips for the investigators etc.
Thank you very much for any advice.

I have been debating on purchasing a new 2007 wrangler. I am fairly sure that I want one although, but I was hoping for some feedback first.

I owned a 93’ wrangler, wrecked it, but loved it. I am debating on getting the new 3 piece hard top, but I have no garage. I would be forced to store it in a basement if I ever took it off. I have not attempted to take one off, is it heavy, will it fit through a standard door? Let me know what you think.

Are the new soft tops any quieter than the ones back in 93’?

I've tried a skinny one and a little wider one so far. I'm inserting it between the window and weatherstrip above the door handle, then sliding it down to where the mechanism are. I've found a spot where if I push on it a little, the door handle moves and the lock bar moves up and down just a bit, but I can't get under it and if I push harder, the stupid slimjim just bends. Am I in the right place or am I doing it all wrong? Thank God I don't make my living as a car thief!!

I'm thinking about buying this car from a second owner and when I did a carfax, it said this:

Title issued or updated
Duplicate title issued

Should I be worried about a duplicate copy of the title? If I buy a used car, should I get two titles? I'm new to this whole car thing and imagined buying a car, getting a title and then having some guy show up saying he has a title too and that I'm driving his car.

Thanks.

My question is should the insurance company have paid the depreciation of the car because of the accident. I am currently about to get a new car and upset of the loss in value of it. I know there's the new car depreciation and I am not complaining about that. I am only wondering about the "body work over $3000" depreciation. Should I talk to a lawyer/insurance agent?

I have a 2006 dodge ram 3500 and when i run it, the battery will explode (i have had to change the battery 3 times in last 4 days). Some said something about overcharging and the charge shutoff. It is no longer under factory warranty (has 54k miles). When i took in to get looked at they hooked up the battery and told me it was fine. Any ideas. The mechanic told me maybe the pcm?? But to bring it back when it was acting up again.

Here's the scenario: I'm exiting a freeway and as I get off the car in front hits their brakes. I slam on my brakes but still rear end them. I know I'm at fault for that, but the car I hit hits the car in front of them, and that car hits the car in front of them. So I'm car A, I rear end car B, who rear ends car C, who rear ends car D. My question is am I at fault for all three other cars? Shouldn't the person I hit left space in front of them so that they wouldn't hit the car in front of them? Do cars B and C share some fault for rear ending the cars in front of them?

I had full coverage on my car, but I had not listed her as a driver yet. She was not excluded on my policy. The driver in front of her slammed on her brakes and my daughter hit her in the rear end. The driver got out and started to beat up my daughter. Will my insurance cover the damages?

I have had a new rear silencer box fitted to my citroen C5 from my local exhaust center just over a week ago , It sound`s as if it is still blowing ( it`s not i had it re-checked and it is fitted ok ) I am also using more fuel than normal & rpm is different ( normally 70mph is 3000 rpm but since exhaust fitted 70 mph is now 3500rpm ) When I questioned the place that fitted it they said that the fuel & rpm have nothing to do with the exhaust system , and i have to give the box time to " carbon up " but i have done 1,200 miles since it was fitted , This is a none genuine exhaust but still cost £100 . Is the exhaust center correct about what they told me about the exhaust not being the cause of the extra fuel & rpm .This has only happend since i had it changed ..Many thank`s to all who reply .................................
