no, they strap babies in the cars now. what do they teach you people in cali? they use dummies, and have always used dummies. the dummies can be made of a ballistics gel, others are more mechanical, requiring sensors to hook up to computers to determine the impact force. i have never heard of that. i certainly hope you were joking on this question. if not, i would transfer to another college. preferably the university of texas. maybe you could learn something

Instrumented crash test dummies have been used for decades.

I doubt that live monkeys were ever used. They would not make a good approximation for a human in accident testing anyway as there are major differences in skeletal structure and strength that would render any data gained useless in protecting humans.

In Germany they use death row inmates. The biggest problem is their freedom if they live through it. I have never heard of the monkey story before.
