I don't know my credit score, but I can give you some details. I have been working out of college for 7 months. I make $32000 a year. I have been paying rent and utilities for 27 straight months without any late payments. I also have student loans, of which I pay $55/month and my parents pay the remaining $120/month. I have one credit card with a $1000 limit and never missed a payment and owe $0. The only other thing I pay for (other than usual groceries, etc) is car insurance.

What are my chances of getting a $12-13k loan for a car? If it helps, I will be putting $5k down on it. I may also chose to go private sale for the car, but will still need the $12-13k loan and pay the difference in cash.

ALSO, important...I won't have a cosigner. I don't have anyone who can cosign for me.

I just replaced my ac compressor and it seemed fine, now it doesnt work when its really hot out and the face vents barely blow off air. and to top it off when i start driving at highway speeds all i get is warm air. please help.....

It smells like battery acid or pee !! :-( What can I do before taking it to a professional. Where can I look to see if there is something I can do. Can it be a fungus, accid, low gas?

So I got pulled over today in a work zone which is a 45 mph zone. I was doing 52 mph. Any ways, what I want to know is how many people have been pulled over when there are seriously 50 other cars around they could choose from that are doing 60 and 65 mph? I just don't get why I was picked and I don't know why the officer had a MAJOR attitude with me. I wasn't sucking up or even trying to get out of the ticket, and he was being mean. I don't want sympathy. All I really wish some one could answer me is why I was chosen. I know no one knows and I know some one had to be chosen and I know life's not fair but seriously, people are flying by me and I get in trouble!! Come on!

Hello

I have bought a second engine for my car from a heavily damaged car but I wonder how to store it.

I plan to remove used oil and putting in new synthetic oil, plugging with paper the various openings of the engine and building a wood support before putting it in a dry place. Any further advice from experts ? thanks

Ok guys just wondering about how i would get another keyless remote rubber part. mine works just fine its just you cant see what buttons locks/unlocks the car. All i need is the rubber part. I know they got them online but im not old enought to buy online yet (aka my dad wont let me get it). Will junk yards have them? Also is there a way i could just like switch the chip in my remote for another one? Im not sure what part of the electronics in the remote give it the frequency but could i switch the ones on a diff remote and get mine to work? Thanks!

I'm looking for a SUV that is reliable and I've heard good things about the 4Runner. Looking at a 1996 TOYOTA 4RUNNER SR5 (3.4L V6 FI DOHC 24V / REAR WHEEL DRIVE) with listed price of $5995.00. 146,000 miles. Per Carfax report, no accidents/recalls, 1 owner. Went to look at it and looks great, interior looks brand new (leather, sunroof, new radio with faceplate that is removable). Outside is also nice (tinted, has front grill guard also). Is this good mileage for the price? I am negotiating and dealer is willing to go down to $4000 with 1000 down payment. I'm traumatized from a previous bad car deal so any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I have 1 2001 Saab 9-3 I had the A/C turned to 58 and n high and i had the speakers pretty high? After driving nearly 150 miles, thea strange smell begam to com through the A/C vents, and the engine compartment was releasing smoke. When I popped the hood, smoke was coming from the front left corner. I have no idea what has caused this, i only have 63K milage. I have a 1996 Chev Astro AWD , 4.3 L with just over 200,000 KM.

My A/C is now just blowing out slightly cool air. I also noticed some fluid dripping from under the right front end, approximately from under the cooling coil (or what ever it is called). I thought at first it was condensation but it left an oily stain on my cement driveway. My compressor is also cycling on and off quite quickly.

So I now assume I have a leak in the system. I have R-134a refrigerant.

Where would I find a "suction discharge hose" in the engine compartment?

Can you give the "heads up" on possible problems/causes so I can deal effectively with my repair shop?
