We have golf carts on our property and one of the kids thinks it is fun to ride backwards. Wanted to know if it is damaging.

It's the same as driving it forward. It won't hurt the cart, but it could give you a stiff neck from looking backwards all the time.

not any more damaging than driving in forward for long periods of time...
not sure why you would want to though...
