So I got pulled over today in a work zone which is a 45 mph zone. I was doing 52 mph. Any ways, what I want to know is how many people have been pulled over when there are seriously 50 other cars around they could choose from that are doing 60 and 65 mph? I just don't get why I was picked and I don't know why the officer had a MAJOR attitude with me. I wasn't sucking up or even trying to get out of the ticket, and he was being mean. I don't want sympathy. All I really wish some one could answer me is why I was chosen. I know no one knows and I know some one had to be chosen and I know life's not fair but seriously, people are flying by me and I get in trouble!! Come on!

You were the one that was there when he caught up with you.

It's that simple really.

Some cops are just fat headed and forget that they are doing a public service, and your tax dollars pay his wages.

I have wondered that same question in the past. I even asked the officer. He said that it was just the luck of the draw. He can't get everybody, but if he gets one then the rest slow down for a while.

It didn't make me feel any better, but since I was speeding, I was the lucky one to get the ticket.

You must have sped by about the time that he finished his doughnut and coffee, and there was space behind you for him to pull out into traffic.

Sorry to hear it, but again it is just pure chance that you got pulled over. The next time you get lucky, I hope it is with a lottery ticket. lol.

well you answered your own question. sometimes it really seems like they use the eenie meenie miny mo method to choose who to stop. I think he was just trying to be intimidating to teach you a lesson, and almost scare you out of speeding.
