The two most likely reasons would be a leaky heater core or there is mold in the system.

Are you losing coolant? Does it smell something like antifreeze? If so, then that may be your problem.

The mold can be addressed by going ot the dealers and getting a type of fluid they sell.

It could be mold. The cold air can build up water on the ducts that could turn into mold. Try running it for a while or take it to have the ducts cleaned.

Battery - simply look at it, the terminals
And the underside of it.

There should be a build number or date on the battery

sounds like antifreeze. Check for a leak , in your cooling system while it is idling , and while in gear under pressure. ( have a friend help)
