I ran a red light after first stopping at the red light. I thought the it turned green and I went only to notice it was still red. Instead of backing up I kept going. Now I have this photo of me running the light and a bail amount of $381. HELP!

I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that has max tow cap of 5000 lbs. I'm interested in buying a 20-24 ft travel trailer to begin camping. My question is the weight. Is the GVWR the one I need to consider when making a choice?

I am looking to get a new 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5 S, with the Convenience Plus Package (alloy wheels, sunroof, etc). The MSRP is $23,375, but the dealership is offering around $2000 off since the '08s are coming in. For those of you who have purchased a new Altima, how much were you able to bring the price down? I want them to include a spoiler...what do you think?

I am financing a car now but want to get a new one and let my friend take over payments of my first car (she has bad credit, so the car will remain in my name). you truck is warming up? My truck makes a gurgle noise if it doesn't heat up for at least 5 mintures, just when i'm backing it. When the engine has been running for ahile then it doesn't do that. I was curious how much gas i'm using up doing that?

The trasmission fluid was low so I put some in (from the dealarship), now my car doesn't take off and won't go past 40 mph. The RPM's go up but it will not accelerate I was thinking maybe it's a spark plug?

My dad gets salvage title insights off ebay for $2000-$4000 and rebuilds them into pretty much new cars. Its great! He did ours for a total of $4500 and it has had no problems for 2 years. Today my husband called and said the IMA light is on. I called him about it and he said the main battery is going bad. His went bad last year and it cost him $3000 to replace it and he did the labor himself! Does anyone have any idea what it would cost at the dealership? We moved from Tennessee to San Diego so Dad can't help anymore. Im thinking about buying a new car. What do you guys think?

First of all hello,

My problem is that my Honda's transmission went out awhile back, so I have to replace it. Now I can shell out 800+ to get it fixed, but I'd much rather learn to do it myself.

Now I'm not too experienced when it comes to mechanics, the most I've ever did was change the brakes on my own; but I figure it's a good time to start to learn. I have basically zero idea where to start. So I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of an "how to" manual on removal/replacement of an transmission. Tools won't be an issue, I'm pretty smart when it comes to learning this type of stuff so I'm not too worried. Think of this as my personal Frankenstein! :)

If you can point me to some good websites or guides on how to do it would be awesome.

Specs: Honda Accord - 2.2L - 4CL - 92'

People keep buying more fuel inefficient vehicles. I have neighbors with driveways full of SUVs and trucks. Even their teenagers drive to school in big gas guzzlers.

Over the holiday weekend, I saw a lot of people driving 80-90 mph. There are very few vehicles that get good mileage at these speeds.

The quality of the gasoline is about the same regardless of brand. Many people will not cross the street to save five cents per gallon. Why should the dealers lower prices??

This is a free country and people can do as they please. But if you are not part of the solutiuon, maybe you are the problem.
