you truck is warming up? My truck makes a gurgle noise if it doesn't heat up for at least 5 mintures, just when i'm backing it. When the engine has been running for ahile then it doesn't do that. I was curious how much gas i'm using up doing that?
thanks!

You car uses very little gas at Idle. Unfortunately there is no MPI ( Miles per idle ) figure to give you. You should be fine with warming up the car and not using much gas at all.

Have a great day!

Under equal loads when cold and when warm (whatever that load may be) engines actually use more gas when they are cold and before they heat up.

Clean the choke, remove the choke cover and spray it with parts cleaner, and then spray WD40 on it and replace cover. My truck does the same thing but in my case this time my choke is fractured into pieces.
