this is probably gonna sound really stupid but here it goes, I'm eighteen and I've recently become fascinated with every thing that has to do with sport motorcycles and what it takes to ride them and become a good rider and i am more than willing to spend the time, and do whatever it takes to develop the skills needed to become a good rider. I plan on taking every safety and training course i can go to. I don't want a motorcycle to dick around on or impress my friends, I want one because I think they're beautiful machines, I'm fascinated and intrigued by the and I have so much respect for the people who ride them well. And i just wanted some opinions from people who actually ride, on which bike would be better for someone who is ready to be completely dedicated to learning to ride well, the yamaha r6 or the honda cbr600rr. im talking everything about them, handling, acceleration, braking, comfort, etc...Anything at all would be greatly greatly appreciated!

I have this really big Capacitor that i got from a microwave oven. would this Capacitor work as a Stiffening Cap for a Car Amp? Its 0.94 UF and its 2200 WVAC. would this work as a Stiffening Cap for a Car AMP?

My husbads truck (Chevrolet S10) recently stopped running, basically turned off on him and the gas gauge was not registering. We had it fixed today, the mechanic said it was the Fuel pump...620.00Dollars! My husband picked it up today and it did not even make it home, the same thing happened again. We towed it to the front of the mechanics shop,(he was closed) but we really want opinions ....has anyone else experienced anything like this???

I was taking the gas to a stranded friend and it spilled partially, not all of it. It is a 2006 Mercedes Benz and the fumes are pretty strong int he cab. Any suggestions to get the smell out. I took the thing off and washed it in a car wash but the smell still there.

Hello Everyone. I have a question for ya'll regarding an 02' Tundra with the 4.7L V-8 and auto transmission and some funky starting. I drove about 5 miles and ran into a store, left this store, drove to another about 1 mile away, parked, ran in for 5 minutes then came back. When I started the truck, it started rather weakly. It didn't kill, it just sort of sounded weak. SO I drove home, which is about 2 minutes away, and decided to do turn it off, wait a few seconds and start it again. When I cranked the engine, it let out a horrible scream,sort of like when you hear someone start a car whose engine is already running. It didn't start, it just stumbled while screaming and didn't start. I tried again....same thing. I tired a third time...same deal. I lifted the hood, nothing looked obvious, belt in place. SO tried again...it started w/o mishap. I tried randomly throughout the afternoon, nothing out of the ordinary happened. I drove to work today and to the store. No mishaps. Any ideas?

I must sell a 1999 BMW M3 convertible ASAP because I can not afford the payment. I have to get at least 14,000 for it and I will be taking a loss. It has lots of auto upgrades, rims, etc. It needs some work on the top and the seats need to be touched up. What is the best way to sell this car and get rid of it... I tried ebay and got only a bid up to 9000. I can't take a loss that big. It is on a credit card. Can you please give me some advice to get rid of it fast before I can't pay my bills and ruin my credit? Do dealers take cars in with out a trade? How does Car Max work? Thank You

My car operates normally Until I go up a slight incline 10 degrees or more. The RPM increases to 4K from 2 for no reason, when I hit the gas pedal the car doesnt increase speed, at all, just RPM. It struggles to get up hill. On level ground the car operates fine.. Its a 93 Thunderbird V-6. Ive owed it for 12 years...no problem until now. Whats the cause and maybe an estimate to fix? Thanks !

I've been trying to decide what kind of car to get and want some suggestions. I want something that's sporty, classy, reliable, and safe. Also, average mpg greater than 20 would be best. I'll be trading in a 1998 BMW 528i and want a similar car. Would like to keep the price below $30,000 (after taxes and the such). I've been looking at the following:

2004ish Infiniti G35 Sedan
2004 BMW 525i
2004 Acura TL
2004 Audi A6 or A4

2004 isn't the only year I will consider, but I was just thinking about these. Any comments on these choices or suggestions of others?

getting good spark getting gas but will not run why is it blowing oil out the carb and black smoke and when you pull to start it it jerks back really hard almost pulling your arm out of the socket

alright i have a 2004 civic EX with 53000 miles. never had a single problem until i drove to san diego which is about 325 miles from my house. the temp is fine while driving on the freeway even at 80 mph, but when i stop or drive slower the temp gets hot. and it soon cools itself off when i start driving again. im almost positive its the thermostat. but i cant find a site that will describe how to change it. can someone give me an opinion. do u think its my thermostat? also when the car gets hot the fan doesnt come on unles i turn on the a/c. can u tell me how to locate the t-stat?

10 year old car w/ 5,000 miles, garage kept, being given to me by an elderly family member. It hasn't been started for about a year, driven for about 1 1/2 years. Any recommendations regarding getting it running? Should the oil and gas be changed? What about the antifreeze?
