Just tell them you have a very large family and lots of friends.....they'll be drooling over the chance to get you to sell cars to every one you know and when that peters out, it's time for you to go. Beware of dealers that play this game...their only interest is selling their cars no matter what and then dumping the poor salesperson that can't really sell to anyone else. Some dealers are better and just want staff who are somewhat knowledgable to show people cars and do test drives and let someone else do the closing. As you gain experience, you can get more involved in the actual sale and earn more money. Point is, be careful and talk to other salespeople about the dealer's way of doing business.

You may not have had any 'paying jobs' but I'm betting that you have joined some groups, and have 'worked for them' for free ... so make a list of those groups, and under each one, list the 'type of work' you did when you belonged, along with the 'dates' and approximate # of hours you did these 'jobs' ... then put them onto your resume in 'chronological order' from the newest (at top) to the oldest (at bottom) ... and be SURE that when you make your 'final copy' your resume is ONLY ONE PAGE LONG! You'll 'be fine' and I think you'll 'get a good job' if you do this and do it 'well' ...
