I ordered the book, Car Builders Manual by Lionel Baxter, from Amazon.com, and it said it will tell you how to construct your own car. Is this actually possible?

I want a torch, to be left in my car, there for anything unexpected.

Ideally I want a really good torch, which has good brightness, reliability, design (comfort and ease - no stupid design) and has long battery life.

I'm told that LED torches are the way to go for battery life and brightness. I know some look good on ebay in the pictures but when you get them they are lightweight, low quality material, and tacky.

Any brand/model of torch known for really good qualities ? I'm willing to pay more for extra good quality instead of tacky rubbish.

My 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee vibrates when I am at a stop light. If I put it in neutral, it's fine. After driving it for awhile it will not do it any more, unless car sits for a couple of hours. This doesn't occur during the summer.

I currently drive a 2 door 2000 Grand Am. My insurance is $415 every six months. I am wanting a Saab 9-3 and my insurance company said if I got a 2006, the VERY MOST would be $501 every six months. But of course, it could be cheaper. Is this a good quote or should I shop around a little more? I'm almost 24 and had one minor wreck 5 years ago that wasn't my fault.

I have 93 Corolla. When ever the engine is not running, the engine light and the oil light are on. When I do start the engine, it goes off until I stop it. again. I hope this is normal. I'm not having any problems with this car.

When I went to have my brakes replaced last time the mechanic told me my caliper was a tearing, which I blame myself for, (whole other story). Anyway, he said that when it comes time to replace my brakes again I am going to have to probably get my caliper replaced, too. He said that was going to cost me about $500 dollars. I was thinking of just buying the caliper and getting a friend to put it in, what do you think? What is a good price for a caliper? Is it that difficult to install? Thanks a head of time!

I've got a 1987 Monte Carlo SS. I replaced the power steering pump due to a leak. The original pump had a double pulley and double belt set up. The replacement only came with a single pulley. I installed it with the single pulley and belt and the power steering doesn't work so well anymore. I know that I need to get a double pulley, but I can't find one. Anyone got any suggestions?
