Pull the switch and jumper the wires. But if you're going to do this, then just buy another switch and replace it. Usually, what happens is the contacts get carbonized up and they don't make contact. On my Corvette, I took the switch apart and cleaned the contacts and put it back together and never had anymore problems out of it.

You're going to have to pull the wires off the back of the switch and use a "jumper" wire to cross the terminals and make a complete circuit!

unhook the harness and take a wire and jump across the plug-in.
