Just about any shop should be able to get it off. Probably looking at a 1/2 hour to an hour labor. Call around. Why are you even bothering asking a question you can just pick up the phone and get a real answer?

It really depends on the model of your vehicle and how accesible the wheelnuts are.If the locking nut is already damaged then you may as well get the thing cut off.

Another soloution is to remove the wheel and hub complete ann then drill the offending stud out from the back . Much better because it does not damage the face of the alloy anf is much softer than the locking nut.

To give a more accurate soloution I'd need to know the make and model of the car.

Sometimes GENTLEuse of a long bar will loosen it

i bought a car with locking wheel nuts but didnt realise it didnt have the key until sometime after. i took it to a tyre place and they put a socket on it and a huge breaker bar and just smashed them off. they charged a tenner for all 4 wheels.

Yes a tire shop can get it off but they charge as well. I don't know how much exactly though. My family owns a body shop and sales so businesses gets free simple service like that.

if you've rounded off the nut with a bi hex socket it may still be possible to remove it or shear it off using a flank drive socket on an air wrench. failing that have the stud drilled out and replace it.

use the next size socket down, using a hammer bang it on the knackered stud/nut, then loosen as normal with a ratchet

Piece of cake, it's called a gator grip, I have one and use it all the time. It's meant for screwing and un screwing bizarre shapped objects (picture hooks, hanging hooks, sqaure nuts and funnily enough, locking wheel nuts).

Locking wheel nuts? Flamin' useless against these things! A tool that everyone should have in their toolkit!

Yes they can get it off. Also, sears craftsman have a removal tool for that too. Check them on the net or go to the store.
