Do 93 model caddillacs have front&rear brake pads?

my brake light is on(red)will replacing the front pads turn the light off?

for sure front pads. Some models have rear disc, orthers are drum.

If you do not have aluminum Cadillac wheels look behind the rear tires and see if you have rotors or drums. The rotors look exactly the same an the front rotors only smaller in diameter. If you have brake drums you will see no shiny rotor.

you could buy a manual and check. sorry i just don't know.
