This car was given to me to use indefinitely by a friend, which is defnitely very nice; I don't want to offend him by complaining about the smell, but it makes me sick. I've tried opening windows (but this gets very cold) and not filling up the tank as high. When the tank is only about a quarter full it stops smelling as bad ... but as soon as I fill it, it happens again. Please help!

I have a 2004 Mazda 3s with 17 inch wheels and do not know much about tires. I am currently looking at Kumho Ecsta Asx, which are all season. Does anyone know if these are good tires? Or would someone recommend someone recommend another type of tire? Also is Kumho a good brand? I am buying them at Discount Tires i think, and they offer a warranty for $62, whcih will cover them up to 3/32" or 3 years. If i do not get that, then if something does happen to them, it is prorated for how much they will cover. Is this worth purchasing? Thanks for your help.

I drive a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant and I have a radiator leak. A guy said he would fix it but it was going to cost me around $150 bucks. I just don’t have the extra cash right now plus I would be without my car for a day or two. Not good. Are there any sealants or temporary fixes that I can use until maybe the New Year?

Hi,
I came to U.S. in May, 06 on work visa. I stay in Pittsburgh, PA. I have international drivers permit from India. I financed my new car (2007 Toyota Camry CE 4dr Sedan) in Sep 06. I took my U.S. learner's permit in September and the valid U.S. driver's permit in Nov, 06.
My coverage is state minimum and premium is $860-6 month:
Bodily injury - $15000/$30000.
Property - $25000.
Deductible Colision: $500 and Comprehensive $500.
Emergency Road Side.
Rental Car ($25 per day/$750).
I earlier had this with First Acceptance for 1 month then I currently have Geico since last 2 months.
I called Geico to tell them that since now I have a valid U.S. driver's license - please decrease my premium. They said I need atleast 3 years U.S. or Canada driver history.

I have a wife who has U.S. learner's permit and International Driver's permit from India. We both have good driving experience (5 years) in India.

I can't afford $860 of premium-6 months. Please suggest what to d

I have to start the engine and then push the clutch for some hundred times then it gets normal.... but still very hard to change gear... Everytime after I stop the engine, the clutch gets bad again.... so I have to push the clutch for some hundred times again to get the car running... I am a stupid in car engineering.... anybody can tell me the reason?? Can I fix it myself or do I need some help?? How much will it cost then??
PS: If I drive for long time, the clutch works as normal...

Okay, I live very close to the lake, and it can get real foggy at times. This morning for example, the fog was real thick. I don't understand why people would purchase vehicles that have fog lights......but not use them in the fog!!! I see more people use them when there is no fog, rather than use them for their normal purpose--hence the title of the lights...."Fog Lights". Anyways, what do you think of this...do you see the same where you live? Are you one of those people that have fog lights on your vehicle, but don't use them?

Thank you for your answers to my previous question. The one that made the most sense is that when the 1 and 8 cylinders were misfiring, it caused the wrist pins to wear out. I bought truck in Sept 06; 4,000 miles no problems. Sunday, Service Engine Soon light came on, took it to dealer on Tuesday. They replaced coils for cylinders, changed fuel filter, replaced all spark plugs. Drove it twenty miles, started loud clunking. Is there some way for them to have known that all was not right before I drove away?
