I saw a video you Youtube, in which a stock Dodge Viper outran a fighter jet on a 1/4 mile test track (both the Viper and the jet took off from the starting line at the same time). I don't know a lot about cars but that seems pretty impressive to me.

A new Viper costs approximately $80,000. Are there any stock production cars that are faster than the Viper at around the same (or lower) price range? I'm talking straight off the showroom floor, not something that has been modified with nitrous, etc.

And could a sport motorcycle such as a Hayabusa outrun a Viper? I didn't think a car could outrun a cycle, but after seeing the Viper outrun a fighter jet, maybe it's possible?

Or even a wheelchair (no PC pls, lets be honest). I am a mum to a two-month-old girl and I don't have a car, so the bus or train is my way of getting around. I am usually met with disdain by others without kids. I am always very polite and say sorry if I bump anyone, but nothing stops the looks. If the bus is busy, I fold the buggy or walk.

I leased a 2004 Ford Mustang and it is time to give it back to the leasing company or I could buy it from them. The online Kelly Blue Book estimator said it is worth $11,650 if I try to sell it to a private party and it estimates a Trade-in Value of $10,075. The payoff with the leasing company is about $9,800.

I know those numbers are just estimates, but I'm asking what I can reasonably expect to get for the car if I try to sell it privately here in Dallas, Texas. If I can sell it for $11,650 in a few weeks I would like to do that. If I would only get $10,075 it's not worth the effort to me and I would rather just give it back to them.

I am baffed as to why the Waterloo & City line was closed for 5 months for enginering works, and now they seem to be closed on most Saturdays for enginering works, it has only been open for about one Saturday since re-opening. Also, who agrees that the Waterloo & City line should extend the running hours. I work at Waterloo and do shift work, and I would far rather get the Waterloo & City line so the journey time is quicker for me, seeing as I live in East London.

I'll have my A&P at the beginning of next summer and I realy want to get into jets. Every job I find wants 3+ years experience, even for GA. I really dont want to work GA. Where can I find a place to work that will take someone with no real experience?

He says it's a 1994 or 1995 (he's leaning more towards 1995) buick lesabre. The motor has 70,000 miles on it and the car has 140,000 miles on it. He is a mechanic. He says it is a good clean car. He is asking $1,250 for it. I have a fiance and a year old son and a 6 year old daughter both in carseats. Would this be a good car for us? We need a good dependable, yet attractive car that will last a while.
