whats up with that? He couldnt have ligned it up as good as he could? he charged me 35 F dollars to rotate my tires!

Wow, I wish I could charge $35 to rotate tires, I'd be rich.

As far as the inner tie rod goes, yes they do go bad. They don't fall apart the same way the outer tie rods do. Why do an alignment on your car when you have steering or suspension parts that are bad. Can you align it...short answer yes. Will it be right...no. As far as trying to rip you off, I can't say yes or no, but I would take it to another garage and ask them to check your steering.

First . . . tire rotation cost too high! Often rotation is free where you bought the tires.

Second . . . Get a second opinion on the tie rod from someone you trust or someone recommended by a friend as trustworthy. I had a similar experience and determined it was nothing but a scam to get more business.

Could be a scam artist,however,if the tie-rod end is loose,proper alignment cannot be obtained! Check the tie-rods yourself because this can be catastrophic if it fails! 35 bucks for rotation sounds a bit high,,:-)=
