I kave one, and with the colapsed hose, it's telling you, it's time to have ALL radiator, and heater hoses closely looked at and possably replaced.
Beleive me, it it far less expensive to replace the hoses now,than what damage will be done later on, if one blows later this winter.
Seriously, if you don't have the funds to do it with now, borrow them

You May not have the cooling system completely full and it is pulling a vacuum or you could have a head gasket blowed that is introducing more heat to the cooling system if you are having to add water to the cooling system i would check for this also make sure your cooling fans are working especially if the car runs cool down the road but heats up in stop and go driving

these cars can get air trapped in cooling system because the radiator is lower than the engine,so you will have to bleed it out where heater hose goes into the metal T connector by the water pump.If that does not help then its probably a head gasket.

replace the hose that is collapsed and make sure u have 50/50 mix in radiator water boils at lower temp than anti freese

CHECK NEAR T-STAT HOUSING, SOME WHERE NEAR THEREYOU WILL FIND A SMALL BRASS BLEEDER VALVE.PROBABLY 1 IN A SMALL STEEL PIPE ALSO. CRACK THESE OPEN, UNTIL ALL YOU GET IS WATER.

You may have some air in your block and the coolant is not circulating. Have it pressured flushed
