I have a 2003 Honda Accord. When I go in reverse, my car begins to make this weird sound. I have taken off the brakes and my rotors and brake pads are fine. What could be causing this sound? Could it be something else besides the brakes?

It is more of a high pitched squeaking sound . At first we thought that it might be a rock in the brake so it kind off sounds like that.

A non-American girl, arrives in the USA to start her studies. She has a drivers license she received from her home country. There is this "law" saying that if a foreing person already has a driver's license he/she can transfer it into an american drivers license without taking the road test. So she did just that.

She went to an auto insurance agency. The person there simply asked her whether she has been driving for 4 years, without specifying that she had to be driving in the USA for 4 years. She answered positively even though she hadnt been driving in the USA for 4 years. Now she is insured with that company.

I'm 22 from the same country just got my drivers license in the USA without "transfering" the one i got from my home country. I called the same company for a quote, telling them that i have been driving since i was 18 in my home country (hoping i wasnt considered as a new driver) and what they told me was that "we cant insure you because you dont have any driving record in

A friend of mine is trying to sell her double wide trailer and has a buyer but is not allowed to sell it because she does not know what the VIN number is for it. She does not know who to ask or who to call to find the number. Does anyone know who she can look to to find the VIN number?

Okay I get my license in 3 days and I live in IL and I just need to know after how many months I can have more than 1 "friend" in the car. I know I can have my brothers and sisters plus 1 friend/cousin but how many months until I can have 4 friends in the car or as many friends as I have seatbelts. Because sometimes my aunt said she'll need me to pick up her kids and I'll have to make several trips to pick them up. Thanks a bunch ♥

I've decided that I want to fit a more powerful turbo-charged engine in my 1.8litre peugeot 205 (1992). Firstly I have not had any experience of this so would it be 'learnable' from the internet/haynes manuals or should I leave to to a professional and if so how much is the bill likely to be. Secondly which diesel engines would be compatible?

I was going to buy another Rx-7 around 100,000 miles on it and place and replace the engine. The car's clutch works fine, the suspension is great, no accidents, just high miles. My question is I guess, If I do this will the car be just as good as new or will I constantly have to restore everything.

93 Taurus power driver seat no longer goes forward or
backwards. When you push the switch back and forth to initiate movement it
just makes a wirrring sound along with a clicking noise. Every other
movement works except front and back.

Is there any easy fix? Could the seat just be off track if you still hear
the motor working? Is there anyway to bypass the power seat to move the seat
back? I would rather not dump a ton of money into it to just fix the seat.

Many thanks!

despite the verry good response of the market ,General Motors renounced of developing this pioneer project that could meen the end of the polution from exhaust of internal combustion based cars. Has past 12 years since then and bilions of tones of CO2,SO2,Pb etc. was disposed into atmosphere since then and stil no change.Today's little children will judge us when they'll grow up because of that (i think) and because of not taking attitude against the people who decided to kill this project.I wonder if Tesla electrical cars (just launched) will have the same faith.Maybe we can push things in that direction by refusing of purchasing huge consumption cars for personal use.Or maybe what we left behind for next generations is not important. :(
