Are you allowed to take laptops on board as well as the hand luggage? Are the regulations only effective for certain airports (London - All) or all UK airports? Are they effective when flying into or out of the UK or both ways?

I took the catalytic converter off on a 1993 Chev Lumina car with the 3.1 V-6 and at first the gas mileage doubled. Then it started getting worse. The converter was stopped up when I forst got the car. I heard that it needs a certain amount of back pressure in the exhaust. If i have an after market converter put on will it make it get better mileage? The car runs great, no check engine light is on, put in new spark plugs a few months ago.

all good except for #8. Looked like something had hit electron. No water in oil, did not over heat. Motor starts and idals without any sounds but running on 7 cylenders. Oil seems to be blowing out of breather tube on valve cover.

I (Abi) went on a hovercraft to the Isle of Wight and really enjoyed it. What I don't understand is why don't they use this type of transport more often?

OK, you are toodling around without nasty heat & fumes eminating, which perhaps makes you feel better within yourelf.
BUT. They energy has to come from somewhere, and generally it is from electricity power sations to re-charge your batteries.
The emmision of carbons and thermal energy is still there, and if you take into account energy losses between the generator and your batteries, the whole notion gets worse.
Any further comments ?

My husband just got a new motorbike and wants to use his PDA which has a GPS on it. The only thing is that when you use the GPS it runs the battery low really fast. In the car this would be overcome easily by just plugging the car lighter adaptor in - but bikes dont come with that!
I reckon that there must be people out there who have had this issue before.
Any help appreciated!
