Yes absolutely, I love the early 18th century, love the manners, the gathering together of an evening and talking/playing instruments/ reading.
Social interaction seemed so much more prevalent and important. I also love the fact that men where such gentlemen and women were ladies
The only thing Ive never fancied is dying of a cut finger or something, but if i could go back with basic modern medicine then Id do it in a heartbeat.

Never. Can you imagine how disgusting it must have been from all the horse manure in a big city? Then ramp up to the populations we have today and think of how many more horses that implies. Really, the waste from horses was very difficult to manage with the lower populations 100 years ago... it would be impossible now.
Further, products could not move fast enough to provide for current society if there were no internal combustion engines. We can only do rustic weekend getaways because the rest of civilization waits for us with its cars, trucks, trains and airplanes. Do you think that a city of 8 million people can be fed, clothed and housed on the backs of horses? It just can't happen.
As for how people got along better 200 years ago, that is a myth of popular culture. Films and books about that era focus on the well-educated and wealthy, not the vast majority who were illiterate, poor and badly clothed. Your chances of improving your life were very slim back then.
A horse has to be fed 20-40 pounds of hay/forage every day, and must receive veterinary care for a healthy life. I'll take a car over a horse any day.

If you just mean a slower pace of life, Yes.
The Amish communities are current practioners. I would like to see a similar community with the proviso that music, both acoustic and electronic was allowed; If my current knowledge and access to information were allowed; if innovations for personal use were allowed (not including petrol engine); if the attitude toward social progress for the improvement of Human endeavor regarding compassion & intellect were intact.
Historically the founder of the Amish was responsible for them being Abolitonist. She allowed "Winter Amish," people that would work during the harvest, share in the food through the winter and leave until the next harvest.
She responsible for the rule that for any field of corn grown that it be divided into thirds. 1/3 for the community, 1/3 for thieves, 1/3 for the crows. When asked why the parcel for the thieves and crows? She said that they had to eat too!
The time of the horse and buggy was a challenge for many USAmericans as it is now. Injustice toward the Native Inhabitants, Enslaved and disenfranchised Inhabitants of all ethnic groups, women, & children, would be as disturbing then as it is now.

That's a very interesting proposition. However; it would be somewhat of a challenge. Remember there already exist, in this country pocket recreational area where family and friends enter without their modern day gadgets and actually take on the time period roles.
Some of the difficulties are realized when the are force to gather water, food, and firewood. Toot paste, shampoo, deodorant, are not available; as neither are microwaves, mp3, cable TV, etc...
The benefit is that the people learn to develop their communication skills and learn to work for survival. Therefore, to answer your question, yes I would. However; only for a short period of time, just for the experiences.
