i am a student, no job got 2 kids, need a car to get arond and help with my bills. how can i get help from a charity/charities?

You have to ask. You are on the Internet: look up local charities in your area, and read their mission statements. Are any of them dedicated to helping single mothers or poor people generally, or kids? However, I wouldn't count on too much with regard to the car: I see lots of single moms and their kids on the bus every day. You may be able to get a bus pass. If you live in a sufficiently small town that there is no bus service, then someone may have a charity voucher for cabs when really necessary, such as going to and from doctor's offices. Or they may have volunteers who pick people up & take them to and from such important appointments. There may be something connected with your school, too; ask your counsellor at school.

Auntb93 has the best answer. Assistance will only go so far. There are charity organizations that accept donations from private citizens in the form of cars. Normally this happens in metropolitan areas and the surrounding suburbs. If you live in a rural area, see if there are community organizations that help with transportation. I'm in the same situation at the moment. I take public transportation if I need to go somewhere. Try it. Check newspaper for job openings. Ask friends for referrals. Goodluck.

Charities dont give out they only take in, they are like insurance companies... lol what fairy tale do you think this is?
