all good except for #8. Looked like something had hit electron. No water in oil, did not over heat. Motor starts and idals without any sounds but running on 7 cylenders. Oil seems to be blowing out of breather tube on valve cover.

It's possible that the insulator that protects the electrode on the plug has broken off.If this has embedded itself on the outer edge of the piston crown it could crush the ring land causing the ring to stick in the groove. This would cause excessive combustion blow by and increase crankcase pressure to the point where oil is forced out of the breather. You will probably notice the engine is fuming and you'll more than likely be blowing blue smoke. The damage to the plug could also be the result of foriegn material entering the combustion chamber via the induction system.

It does sound like you blew a head gasket. Not a major problem. This motor will last a very long time. Don't fret, just bite the bullet and put a top end set in it. You could get away with just the intake gasket, 1 vave cover gasket, and 1 head gasket. Not much price difference. Good luck.

If oil is pumping out breather tube, you've broken a ring, I would say on the # 8 cylinder because that is what smashed the electrode.

i own a fix save, and you may desire to tug the plugs out of it and placed a splash oil i each and each cylinder and turn the engine over with the help of hand you're able to do t is with the help of putting a socket on the backside bolt of the harmonic balancer, and then drain each and all of the previous oil out of it,upload new oil to it,and determine you have stable gas for it,crank it some circumstances with the coil cord off it to bypass the oil, then upload new plugs to it,and take a inspect beginning it,it is going to likely be ok ,if it did not have any considerable issues in the previous it is going to not have now,in simple terms take a while with it,and it is going to likely be wonderful, stable good fortune with it,,i'm hoping this help,s.

white smoke is water sounds like it could be a blown head gasket , take a compression test ,remove the radiator cap sometimes you can tell if you have exhaust gasses coming up thru the water
