The heavy equipment doesn't go forward or does't go reverse. What wll i do to repair it and what causes them?

If manual transmission, check the clutch or a bent shift fork.If it's an automatic (depending on the year) check the fluid level, filter, transmission modulator and torque converter.

Possible Low Fluid Level, also cloggred transmission filter. I,m not a mechanic, but actually had this happen to me years ago. Hope this helps.

If this is a car, could be as simple as a plugged filter

Check your gear box. Maybe the gear shifter is having problem.
